HISTORY

The club formerly known as Beckton United appears to have disappeared without trace and Google is not being our friend here. The side played in the London Spartan League and the Spartan League (same thing, just without the 'London' prefix) during the 1980s before leaving in 1996.

After that, we have no idea what became of the club and have been utterly stumped. Just the one meeting between Boro' and the now-defunct Beckton United - an FA Vase 3rd Round game that ended in a 3-0 away win for the Hertfordshire team.
