HISTORY

Founder members of the Essex Senior League in 1971, Basildon United enjoy a period of sustained success towards the end of the decade with four successive league titles. Following their fourth title win, the Bees joined the Athenian League and immediately finished 2nd to earn promotion to the Isthmian League. After peaking at 7th position in Division One of the Isthmian League, the club quit to rejoin to the Essex Senior League in 1991.
