HISTORY

One of Stevenage Borough's closest neighbours, geographically speaking of course, Barton Rovers left the Isthmian League in 2004 to take up residence in the Southern League. The club's entry into the Isthmian League in 1979 followed five successive South Midland League titles, with an FA Vase runners-up medal chucked in the middle of the halcyon period during the late 1970s.
