One of the most successful English football teams of modern times, certainly on a domestic front, Arsenal also have a rich history behind them from their early days south of the River Thames in the late 19th century. With a host of trophies to their name in their history, the club certainly ranks as one of the top five or six in English league history, while they remain one of the longest-serving members of the top flight.
On a number of occasions in recent years, an Arsenal team has travelled to Broadhall Way to take on Stevenage in pre-season friendlies. Any hopes of meeting the North London club in a competitive match will depend on Boro's ability to ascend through the divisions or pull out a big draw in the cup competitions. It is, arguably, more likely to be the latter and more likely to happen than in previous years. Select an option from the left for more information about this club |
