Why BoroGuide?

Do you represent a brand, product or service? Do you want to gain some additional exposure through BoroGuide? We'd be more than happy to hear from you in that case. As the leading independent Stevenage website, we always strive to offer exceptional service and a unique resource for supporters since our birth in 2002.

We provide a comprehensive guide to all things Boro' - clubs, players and seasons, past and present. We're home to what we believe is the BIGGEST database of Stevenage Football Club information anywhere and have the information that no-one else can offer. Not only that, but our regular blogs deliver regular and topical updates.

Since Boro's promotion to the Football League in 2010, our appeal has grown and strengthened. For potential advertisers, it means our audience is larger as the size of our respective opponents has increased in line with Boro's rise up the divisions. We have a range of solutions to suit all your needs, which we've outlined below.

What do we get?

In return for providing advertising space and services, we do require payment in return - except in special circumstances that we determine on a case-by-case basis. We have standardised rates that are both affordable and competitive, so do get in touch to find out more.

We do not publicise our rates here because we believe in leaving ourselves open to negotiation where possible.

Display Options:

  • Leaderboard (728 x 90px): Our leaderboard placement is a high-traffic, high-visibility advertising option for the brand that wants to be noticed. Unless specified, your advert will appear across all BoroGuide pages and blog posts - above the fold on both desktop and mobile devices
  • Medium Rectangle (300 x 250px): The medium rectangle placement is another option that, unless specified, appears on all BoroGuide pages and blog posts. It sits below the fold on both desktop and mobile devices, but is a consistent and effective method of promoting your brand.
  • Skyscraper (120 x 600px): We don't offer this placement as standard, but we are open to the possibility should you be confident this option suits your needs best

Text Options:

  • Text Link (Home): BoroGuide's home page is the busiest on our site, with a high-level of traffic. We can provide a text link to your website in a wide range of locations; locations of your choosing wherever possible
  • Text Link (Blog): Our regular blog posts make for a popular read and we are pleased to be able to insert text links upon request. The links need not be explicitly related to football, but we do prefer links that we can put into a context that our audience considers relevant
  • Sponsored/Partner Posts: If you have an article you would like to publish on BoroGuide's blog platform, this is no problem. We give you freedom over the subject and content, though reserve the right to edit posts for factual or style purposes and to refuse proposals that include offensive material

The top advertising option, which is located in a hugely prominent position across BoroGuide and the blog. The placement accommodates both text and image adverts, depending on your specific needs and requirements.
